Free iPad Engravings for the Holidays?

Erictric claims, from that Apple plans on offering the free option of having a custom engraving on the iPad for the holiday season.

The contact goes on to say that Apple is pushing for and expects huge sales during the holiday season. Because of this and because a large part of Apple's revenue is made from content after the iPad is already purchased, the Apple employee says he believes that Apple will be doing this for free, just like they did with iPods last year to boost holiday sales.

Of course with Apple, as secretive as they are, we know to take the rumors that fly around about them with a grain of salt.
